Paul from Amber Travel designed a great holiday in Turkey for our group of 17. We explored the amazing landscape of the Cappadocia region then visited the Kaymakli Underground city, Konya, Ephesus, Pamukkale before hiking part of the Lykian Way between the coastal towns of Fethiye and Kas. We spent an excellent 7 days walking part of the Lycian Way. A great combination of beautiful scenery, heritage and local life and culture. 10 - 15 miles a day, quite a bit of elevation and sometimes rocky and uneven underfoot. ( but certainly manageable for a reasonably fit pair of over 60's) It was the first time that Ani, our guide had led the expedition but she knew the route like the back of her hand and was an excellent guide. The organisation was superb - pick up, taxis, flexibility re pick up points etc. We loved Amber Travel's emphasis on sustainability and supporting the local economy and loved their choice of simple family run accommodation some nights. We would recommend Amber travel without reservation-thanks very much!
